One of the moms, Paula Messner, used to sing in bands like Vertical Pillows and Motor Dolls. She had an idea to start a new band with other stay-at-home moms. So, in 2003, they formed The Candy Band! They started playing punk rock versions of classic nursery rhymes, famous movie songs, and other kids' favorites. They also wrote their own awesome songs.
