  • Ashley (played by Kaitlyn O'Fray): She is one of the neighborhood children. She is the oldest girl in the group.
  • Ms. Z. (played by Davonda Simmons): She is the letter carrier for the neighborhood. Ms. Z brings Dooley his "Letter of the Day." This is a real letter of the alphabet. It's usually the first letter of the main word for the show's theme. She also brings "Picture Pals," which are drawings sent in by viewers. Ms. Z is also a wise advisor. She often helps solve problems by singing songs.
  • Dr. Arvid (played by Arvid Edward II): He is Kayla's father. He is a veterinarian, which means he is an animal doctor. He often visits and brings animals for the children to meet and learn about.
