The Four Seasons is a famous American rock and pop band. They became very successful in the 1960s and 1970s.
Sometimes, since 1970, they have also been known as Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons. The band started in 1960. Before that, they were called the Four Lovers.
The main members of the Four Seasons were Frankie Valli as the lead singer. Bob Gaudio played keyboards and sang. He also wrote many of their songs. Tommy DeVito played lead guitar. Nick Massi played electric bass.
The Four Seasons were one of the few American bands to be very popular for a long time. They were successful before, during, and after the British Invasion. The British Invasion was when many British bands, like The Beatles, became popular in the United States.
