The Hub, also known as 333 Schermerhorn Street, is a very tall building called a skyscraper. It is located in the Downtown Brooklyn area of Brooklyn, New York City. The building stands 610 feet (about 186 meters) tall and has 55 floors.

The Hub is home to 754 apartments, where many people live. To help residents get around, it has seven elevators. Four of these are for the higher floors, and three are for the middle floors.

When it was finished in December 2015, The Hub became the tallest building in Brooklyn. It took this title from another building called AVA DoBro. However, The Hub didn't hold the record for long. In April 2019, a new building named Brooklyn Point, part of the City Point complex, became even taller.

Building Design and Features

The Hub was designed by two architecture firms: Dattner Architects and Goldstein Hill & West Architects, LLP. Its style is called Postmodern architecture. This means it has a modern look but also includes some classic design ideas.

Construction on The Hub began in 2014 and was completed in 2016. The building is mainly used for homes, providing many apartments in the busy city.
