Solving the Infinity Clue Mystery
This story begins after Frank and Joe, along with their friend Chet, visit a power plant. After this visit, they get a mysterious letter from their dad. The letter tells them to go to Washington, D.C., and to look out for something called "Infinity."
Threats and Stolen Jewels
Once in Washington, D.C., the boys face danger. They are threatened by someone who seems to enjoy making trouble with dangerous devices. The strange "Infinity" clue starts appearing everywhere they go. To make things even more complicated, a very valuable diamond, believed to be cursed, is stolen.
Clearing Their Names
Because of the stolen diamond, the Hardy Boys are wrongly suspected of taking it. To prove they are innocent, they decide to take on this new mystery themselves. They face many challenges and setbacks as they try to find the real thief and the missing diamond.
Uncovering Hidden Secrets
Their search leads them to a strange drilling site, where they find the "Infinity" clue once again. While staying at a camp, they see a boat disguised as an oyster boat passing by. They also notice strange flashes of light and decide to investigate the source.
Discovering a Secret Island
Following the flashes, the Hardy Boys discover a secret island. The people living on this island seem to be living as if it were the 1700s! On this island, they find a man who was thought to be dead. It turns out he is the true owner of the stolen diamond.
A Plan to Cause Trouble
Later, the boys travel to a chain of islands. Here, they uncover a secret plan. Someone is trying to cause artificial earthquakes using small devices. The goal is to damage power plants and make oil more popular. The Hardy Boys must stop this plan to keep everyone safe.
