What Makes The Joker Roller Coaster Special?
The Joker is a type of roller coaster called a "4th Dimension Free Spin" coaster. This means your seat can spin forward and backward on its own, adding extra twists to your ride! It's different from regular roller coasters because your seats are on either side of the track, not directly above or below it.
How Does a 4th Dimension Free Spin Coaster Work?
This special coaster uses a unique design from a company called S&S Worldwide. As you go along the track, your seat rotates freely. This gives you a wild, unpredictable ride where you might be spinning upside down or backward at any moment!
The ride starts with a tall Chain lift hill that pulls your car up high. Then, you drop down and zoom through twists and turns. But the real fun comes from your seat flipping and spinning as you go!
Where Can You Ride The Joker?
You can find The Joker roller coaster at four different Six Flags theme parks in the United States:
- Six Flags Great Adventure in New Jersey. This was the first Joker coaster, opening in 2016.
- Six Flags Over Texas in Texas.
- Six Flags New England in Massachusetts.
- Six Flags Great America in Illinois.
All three of the newer Joker coasters opened in 2017.
