The Story of the Friends

Once upon a time, a Mouse, a Bird, and a Sausage were great friends. They lived happily in a cozy home. Each friend had a special job to do. The Bird would fly to the forest to gather wood. The Mouse was in charge of getting water and making the cooking fire. The Mouse also set the table for meals. The Sausage was the cook, preparing all their food.
One day, the Bird was chatting with other birds. They teased the Bird, saying it did all the hard work. They said the Bird was like a servant. The next day, the Bird felt unhappy about its job. It suggested that they should all switch roles. The Bird refused to go to the forest for wood.
At first, the Mouse and the Sausage did not like this idea. They thought their old way worked perfectly. But in the end, they agreed to try the new plan. Now, the Bird was supposed to bring water. The Mouse would do the cooking. The Sausage's new job was to go to the forest to collect wood.
The Sausage left early in the morning to gather wood. But it never came back home. The Bird started to worry a lot. It went out to look for its friend. Soon, the Bird found a dog. The dog had attacked and eaten the Sausage. The Bird was very upset and wanted to blame the dog.
But the dog quickly made up a story. It claimed the Sausage was carrying secret, fake letters. The dog said the Sausage had to be stopped. The Bird could not argue with this strange story. So, it went home and told the Mouse what had happened. The two remaining friends decided they had to manage on their own.
The Mouse bravely started to cook. It tried to cook like the Sausage did. The Sausage used to roll around in the pot to mix the food. The Mouse tried to do the same thing. But the pot was too hot. The Mouse could not stand the heat and sadly burned to death.
Later, the Bird came home from the forest. It panicked when it could not find the Mouse. The Bird started throwing the wood around the house. It yelled and searched everywhere. Suddenly, the wood caught fire. To put out the flames, the Bird flew to the well to get water. It dropped the bucket into the well. Then, the Bird fell into the well too. The Bird could not get out and drowned.
