What's the Story About?
Get ready for a thrilling adventure! The Rogue Crew takes you from the western shores of Salamandastron all the way to the High North Coast. In this story, you'll meet brave heroes like Captain Rake Nightfur and his Long Patrol Hares. They team up with Skor Axehound and his fearless Rogue Crew Sea Otters.
The Dangerous Quest
These heroes march boldly into a big saga filled with singing, feasting, and lots of swashbuckling action. Their main goal? To find a very famous ship called the Greenshroud. This ship is crewed by dangerous Searats and Corsairs. Its captain is the truly evil Razzid Wearat, who is feared on both land and sea.
Saving Redwall Abbey
Razzid Wearat has a terrible plan: he wants to conquer Redwall Abbey! This means the fate of Abbot Thibb and all the Redwallers is in great danger. It's a fast-paced chase, full of excitement. Who will reach the Abbey gates first? Can anyone save the legendary Abbey from the Wearat's clutches? It's a race to victory or defeat!
The Main Adventure
The story begins after Razzid Wearat and his crew suffer a defeat from the brave Rogue Crew. Shekra, the Wearat's seer (someone who can see the future), tells him about Redwall Abbey. She says it's a place he can easily attack and take its treasures. So, the Wearat sets his course for the Abbey, harming anyone who gets in his way.
Heroes Unite
Skor Axehound and Rake Nightfur soon hear about the Wearat's evil plans. They decide to join forces to stop the Wearat and his large group of followers once and for all. Meanwhile, the Wearat causes trouble on land, attacking otters and Guosim shrews as he moves closer to Redwall.
A Young Otter's Path
Skor Axehound has a young son named Swiffo. Swiffo isn't interested in weapons, which goes against his father's wishes. Instead, Swiffo joins a group called the Fortunate Freepaws. The hares from the Long Patrol and the otters from the Rogue Crew sometimes try to outdo each other. But Kite the Slayer helps them see that even though they are different, they need to work together to win.
A Hedgehog's Journey
Shekra, the Wearat's seer, finds a hedgehog named Drogbuk Wiltud. They take him onto the Greenshroud, hoping he can give them directions to Redwall. Eventually, Skor meets up with the Wearat's crew, and Drogbuk bravely jumps overboard. Swiffo finds the hedgehog and gives him a good bath, which makes him lose all his spikes! Sadly, Swiffo is later killed by a fox who uses poison darts, when they are close to the Abbey.
The Final Battle
When the Greenshroud ship is finally seen from Redwall, some young Dibbun babies spot it from the top of a tower. Their caretaker comes to get them and also sees the green-sailed ship heading their way. She quickly warns the Abbot. Meanwhile, Skor and Rake also find their way to the Abbey. When they arrive, the Wearat is defeated by Jum Gurdy, a strong otter cellardog, and Posybud, a brave young hedgehog. The Wearat's entire crew is defeated.
