Unraveling the Mystery
This story begins when a sheep farmer gets a very strange phone call. He had just bought some old pictures painted on parchment. The voice on the phone tells him, "Figure out the message in the parchment and fix a big mistake." The farmer is confused and asks the famous young detective, Nancy Drew, for help.
The Parchment's Secret
Nancy teams up with the farmer's daughter, Junie. Together, they start looking for clues. They need to find out who is causing trouble and trying to get money unfairly from people. The mystery leads them through several puzzles. Some of these puzzles even have links to the country of Italy!

Nancy wonders if the secret message in the parchment is connected to a young artist boy living on another farm. She also tries to figure out who is making everyone in the neighborhood feel scared.
