In 1993, Theikpan Soe Myint Naing won a special honor called the National Literary Award. This award was for his children's book titled Nyi-htwelay atwet Khalay Kabyar-myar. It was announced on December 2, 1993, that he had won in the children's literature category.
Sarpay Beikman Manuscript Awards
He has also won the Sarpay Beikman Manuscript Awards more than once. These awards recognize excellent unpublished writings.
