Thomas Ice is an American writer and scholar who studies and writes about biblical predictions. He is known for his work on how people understand the future events described in the Bible.

Thomas Ice's Education and Career

Thomas Ice went to Howard Payne University and earned his first degree in 1975. Later, he studied theology, which is the study of religious beliefs, at Dallas Theological Seminary. He received his master's degree there in 1981. He continued his studies and earned a PhD from Tyndale Theological Seminary in 1995. He also did more advanced studies in church history at the University of Wales.

Ice believes in something called dispensational premillennialism. This is a way of understanding how God works through different periods of history, leading up to a time when Jesus is believed to return to Earth. He also supports pre-tribulationism, which is the belief that Christians will be taken to heaven before a difficult time on Earth.

In 1994, Thomas Ice helped start the Pre-Trib Research Center with Tim LaHaye. This center was created to study, teach, and discuss the idea of pre-tribulationism. The center holds meetings and conferences to talk about these topics.

Thomas Ice has taught at Liberty University. In 2018, he moved to Calvary University. He lives in Lee's Summit, Missouri, with his wife, Janice.
