His Journeys and Wars
Thomas Ros had an interesting life. In 1364, he traveled with the king of Cyprus. They went on a journey to a special place called the Holy Land.
He also fought in wars in France. These wars happened between 1369 and 1371. He was a knight and a leader in these conflicts.
Working with Kings
Thomas Ros was asked to join important meetings. These meetings were called Parliament. He was invited by two different kings. First, King Edward III of England asked him to attend. Later, King Richard II of England also called upon him.
He passed away in Uffington, Lincolnshire, on June 8, 1384. He was buried at Rievaulx Abbey. After he died, his wife remarried Sir Richard Burley.

Thomas Ros married Beatrice Stafford on April 12, 1363. Beatrice was the daughter of Ralph Stafford, 1st Earl of Stafford. Thomas and Beatrice had six children together. They had four sons and two daughters.
