The Thotsakan Kid Game (Thai: เกมทศกัณฐ์เด็ก) was a popular Thai game show. It was created by Workpoint Entertainment. The show first aired in 2004 and finished in 2008. It was a special version of the main Thotsakan show, made just for kids.
How the Game Works
In Thotsakan Kid Game, children played by themselves. They did not compete against each other. The main goal was to match faces with names. Players had to correctly identify a face from a group of faces. They would be given a name and had to pick the right person.
If a player answered correctly, they continued playing. The game would go on until they made a mistake. Winners could earn a scholarship. This scholarship was worth up to one million Thai baht.
Show's History and Changes
The show started in 2004 with its original format. Children played alone to win scholarships. Over time, the show's format changed. This happened partly because of some public discussions.
Later, the show featured teams. These teams had players of three different ages. Then, it changed again to single players. These players competed for charity, helping good causes. The kids' version of the show stopped in June 2008. This marked the end of the Tod Sa Gun name after more than five years on TV.
