She became famous for her song "Collide" in 2019, which featured the group EarthGang. This song was part of the soundtrack for the movie Queen & Slim. Early Life and Music Beginnings
Tiana Major9 grew up in London, England, in a Jamaican family. From the age of five, she loved listening to and singing gospel music in church. She studied music at the City and Islington College to prepare for her career. In 2014, she started to get noticed when she was a finalist in the MOBO's UnSung competition.
Tiana Major9's Music Journey
Between 2017 and 2018, Tiana Major9 released her first songs, including "Merry Go," "Levee (Let It Break)," and "Mr. Mysterious." On January 25, 2019, she released her first collection of songs, called an EP, titled Rehearsal @ NINE.
She also sang on a song called "Rainfall" for the famous artist Stormzy's album. Later that year, her song "Collide" with EarthGang was featured on the Queen & Slim movie soundtrack. This song was even nominated for a Grammy Award! On August 7, 2020, Tiana Major9 released her second EP, At Sixes And Sevens, after signing with Motown.
