Tinsel Korey (born March 25, 1980) is a talented Canadian actress and singer-songwriter. She is most famous for playing the character Emily Young in the popular Twilight Saga movies.

Life and career

Tinsel Korey started her acting journey by appearing in many TV commercials. This was before she moved to Vancouver, a big city in Canada. In late 2002, she planned to move to Hollywood to continue her career.

However, she had a small problem at the border. She couldn't prove she would return to Canada. So, she changed her plans and moved to Vancouver instead. She has lived and worked there ever since.

In 2006, Tinsel got a small part in a movie called Unnatural & Accidental. She acted alongside Callum Keith Rennie. The director, Carl Bessai, noticed her hard work. He saw how she grew as an actress during this early role.

Tinsel Korey is also a singer. In 2008, she performed at the National Aboriginal Achievement Awards. This event celebrates the achievements of Indigenous people in Canada.
