Toccara Elaine Jones (born March 13, 1981) is an American television personality, fashion model, actress, and singer. She became well-known as a contestant on the TV show America's Next Top Model.
Early Life
Toccara Jones grew up in Dayton, Ohio. She went to Stivers School for the Arts. There, she studied theatre and dance, which helped her prepare for a career in entertainment.
Her Career
Modeling
Toccara Jones was a contestant on the third season of America's Next Top Model. She was known for winning "Covergirl of the Week" four times in a row. Even though she was eliminated eighth, many fans remembered her.
After the show, Toccara signed with Wilhelmina Models. She became a successful plus-size model, which means she models clothes for people with fuller figures. She has appeared on the covers of many magazines. These include Be, The Next Level Magazine, Black Men magazine, Black Hair magazine, Braids magazine, and King magazine. She was also featured in Ebony magazine.

Toccara has modeled for popular brands like Ashley Stewart, Avon, Torrid, and Target. She has also been in fashion shows for Hot 97 and BET. In 2007, she was part of the Rocawear "I Will Not Lose" campaign. This campaign featured their plus-size clothing line.
She continued to model in events like BET's Rip the Runway. In 2009, she showcased designs from Project Runway and other designers.
A big moment in her career was being photographed by Steven Meisel for Vogue Italia. She had a 14-page spread in their special "Black Issue" in July 2008. This issue was very important because it featured many black models. It helped to highlight the need for more diversity in the fashion world.
On Television
Toccara has also worked as a television personality. She has co-hosted an episode of 106 & Park. She was also a correspondent for The Black Carpet. She co-hosted the game show Take the Cake on the BET network.
She often appeared on The Tyra Banks Show. She even served as a judge on one of their talent episodes. Toccara also appeared in America's Next Top Model: Exposed.
In 2006, Toccara was on the VH1 reality show Celebrity Paranormal Project. In 2008, she joined the show Celebrity Fit Club. On this show, she worked to reach a healthy weight for her modeling career. She aimed for a weight that was good for her profession. She later appeared on Celebrity Fit Club: Boot Camp and achieved her health goals.
In 2011, Toccara starred in the second season of the reality series The Ultimate Merger.
Acting
Toccara has also done some acting. She appeared in Trina's music video for the song "I Got a Thang for You". She also had a role in the 2012 movie Think Like a Man.

In 2008, Toccara Jones was honored by the Middletown, Ohio NAACP. She received a special key to the city at their Freedom Fund Gala. This award recognized her achievements and contributions.
