Tollville is a small community in Prairie County, Arkansas, United States. It is not a city with its own government. You can find it east of a bigger city called Little Rock.
History
The community of Tollville is believed to have been started by the Toll family. They were English emigrants, which means they moved from England to live in a new country. Other families who helped found the community were the Claytons and the Foots.
In the late 1880s, a man named Lord Thomas Marsh Horsfall owned a lot of the land here. He was also from England and was an entrepreneur. This means he was a person who started and managed businesses. Many people living in Tollville went to an Episcopal Church. This church was called St. Peter's on the Prairie and was built in 1904.
