Tomislav Erceg (born October 22, 1971) is a former Croatian footballer. He played as a forward, which means he was a goal scorer for his teams. Tomislav played for many different clubs during his career. He also represented the Croatian national team four times, scoring one goal.

Playing for Clubs: Tomislav's Journey
Tomislav Erceg began his football career in 1990 at HNK Šibenik. After just one season, he moved to HNK Hajduk Split, a very well-known club in Croatia. He played there for three seasons.
Playing Abroad: International Teams
After his time at Hajduk Split, Tomislav decided to play football in other countries. He joined teams in Switzerland, Germany, Italy, Spain, Turkey, Japan, and Israel. This shows he was a talented player who could adapt to different leagues.
Top Scorer in Croatia
One of Tomislav's biggest achievements was becoming the top scorer in the Prva HNL, which is Croatia's main football league. This happened during the 2004–05 season when he played for HNK Rijeka. He scored 17 goals that season! He was the first player from Rijeka to win this award.
Tomislav Erceg is also one of the all-time top goal scorers in the Prva HNL. He scored 97 goals in the league, making him one of the best in Croatian football history.
Playing for Croatia: National Team Career
Tomislav Erceg also had the honor of playing for his country, Croatia. He made his first appearance for the national team in June 1997. This was during a tournament called the Kirin Cup against Japan. He came into the game as a substitute.
He played a total of four matches for Croatia. He scored one goal for his country in a friendly game against Turkey on June 12, 1997. His last game for the national team was in September 1997, during a World Cup qualification match against Denmark.
