Playing Career Highlights
Tomoyasu Asaoka was born in Tokyo Metropolis, Japan, on April 6, 1962. He loved football from a young age. After finishing his studies at the University of Tsukuba, he began his professional career.
Joining Nippon Kokan
In 1985, Asaoka joined a club called Nippon Kokan. This team played in the Japan Soccer League, which was the top football league in Japan at the time. He quickly became an important player for them.
- From 1985 to 1988, his team finished second in the league three years in a row. This showed how strong they were!
- Asaoka played in 63 matches for Nippon Kokan.
- In the 1985/86 season, he was even chosen for the "Best Eleven" team. This means he was one of the top 11 players in the entire league!

Moving to Yomiuri
