Later, in 2013, she joined Swedish singer Erik Segerstedt for the Swedish music contest Melodifestivalen 2013. Their song was called Hello Goodbye. In 2020, Tone returned to Melodi Grand Prix 2020 with her song Hurts Sometimes.
In 2012, Tone Damli was chosen to be a judge on Idol in Norway. This was a special event to celebrate 10 years of the show. She judged alongside Kurt Nilsen, who was the very first winner of Idol in Norway.
