Tony Harrison (born September 6, 1990) is an American professional boxer. He is known for his boxing skills and powerful punches. Tony held a major boxing title, the WBC light middleweight title, from 2018 to 2019. He also tried to win the IBF light middleweight title in 2017. As of May 2022, experts ranked him as one of the top light middleweight boxers in the world.

Tony Harrison's Boxing Journey
Tony Harrison started his professional boxing career on July 2, 2011. His very first fight was in Hamburg, Germany. He won quickly by a technical knockout (TKO) in the first round. This means the referee stopped the fight because his opponent could not continue safely.
Fighting for a Title: Harrison vs. Hurd
Tony had a great start to his career, winning many fights. In February 2017, he faced Jarrett Hurd for a chance to win the vacant IBF light middleweight title. This was a big opportunity for Tony. During the ninth round, Tony was knocked down by a strong punch. The referee then stopped the fight, and Tony lost.
Winning a Major Title: Harrison vs. Charlo
On December 22, 2018, Tony Harrison had another chance to win a world title. He fought Jermell Charlo for the WBC light middleweight title. This was a very important fight for both boxers. Tony fought very well and won the fight by a unanimous decision. This means all the judges agreed that Tony was the winner. He became a world champion!
Losing the Title: Harrison vs. Charlo II
After winning the title, Tony had a rematch with Jermell Charlo. This second fight was very close and exciting. Charlo knocked Tony down in the second round, but Tony got back up and kept fighting. In the eleventh round, Charlo knocked Tony down two more times. The referee then stopped the fight to protect Tony, and he lost his WBC title.

On April 9, 2022, Tony Harrison fought Sergio Garcia. Tony won this fight clearly, showing his skills. He won by a unanimous decision from the judges.
