Tony "Wild T" Springer is a super talented guitarist who plays blues-rock music. He was born in Trinidad and Tobago and later moved to Canada.

Early Musical Journey
Tony Springer grew up in Trinidad and Tobago. When he was a teenager, he loved playing music. He was part of many different bands that played reggae and calypso tunes. These are popular music styles from his home country.
Rocking Out in Canada
Later, Tony moved to Canada and settled in a big city called Toronto. He started playing in local music clubs. For a while, he was in a band that played songs by the famous guitarist Jimi Hendrix.
In 1986, Tony joined a band called Rough Trade. After a couple of years, in 1988, the band decided to stop playing together.
Becoming Wild T
In 1990, Tony Springer decided to create his own stage name: Wild T. He also started his very own band, called Wild T and the Spirit.
His hard work paid off! In 1992, Wild T was nominated for a Juno Award. This is a really big music award in Canada. He was nominated for "Most Promising Male Vocalist."
Tony also got to play with a super famous musician, David Bowie! Tony was a guest musician on David Bowie's album Black Tie White Noise, which came out in 1993.
Wild T and the Spirit's Success
Over the years, the band Wild T & the Spirit had different members. They released many albums, which are collections of their songs. One of their albums, called Givin' Blood, was also nominated for a Juno Award in 1994.
Wild T & the Spirit traveled a lot, playing concerts in Europe, Canada, and the United States. They were still performing and making music in 2017, showing how much they love what they do!
