The tower was connected by a strong city wall to another famous old building, the Torre del Oro. Both towers were built in a style called Moorish architecture, which is known for its beautiful designs.
From Neglect to New Life
For many years, the Torre de la Plata was not taken care of. Plants grew all over it, and people who didn't have homes sometimes stayed there. But in 1992, the tower was fixed up and restored. Now, it stands proudly again as a reminder of Seville's long history.
