Toru Yoshikawa (born December 13, 1961) is a former Japanese football player. He played as a Midfielder and was also a member of the Japan national team.
Football Journey
Toru Yoshikawa was born in Mie Prefecture, Japan, on December 13, 1961. He started his football career after finishing high school.
Club Career
In 1980, Yoshikawa joined the football club Hitachi. He played for this team for many years.
Later, in 1992, he moved to Kyoto Shiko. This club later changed its name to Kyoto Purple Sanga.
In 1995, he joined another team called Kyoiku Kenkyusya. This team also changed its name later to FC Kyoken. Toru Yoshikawa played football until he retired in the year 2000.
Playing for Japan
Toru Yoshikawa also had the honor of playing for his country. He was part of the Japan national team.
His first game for Japan was on February 12, 1983. He played against the Syria team. This was his only game for the national team.
