Toshimasa Toba (鳥羽 俊正, born July 16, 1975) is a former Japanese football player. He played as a defender for Mito HollyHock during his career.
Toshimasa Toba's Football Journey
Toshimasa Toba was born in Aichi Prefecture, Japan, on July 16, 1975. After finishing his studies at Juntendo University, he began his professional football career.
In 1998, he joined Mito HollyHock, a club in the Japan Football League. He quickly became an important player for the team. Toshimasa Toba played many games as a defender from his very first season.
His team, Mito HollyHock, was promoted to the J2 League in the year 2000. He continued to be a regular player for the club until 2002. In 2003, he played less often. Toshimasa Toba decided to retire from playing football at the end of the 2003 season.
