Toyin Afolayan (born September 24, 1959), also known as Lola Idije, is a famous Nigerian actress. She became well-known after playing the role of Madam Adisa in the 1995 movie Deadly Affair.
Toyin Afolayan also helped start some popular internet phrases like Soro Soke werey and Pele My Dear. The phrase Soro Soke werey was used by people protesting in Nigeria. They wanted the government to speak up and address problems with a police unit called SARS.

Toyin Afolayan comes from Agbamu, a town in Kwara State, Southwest Nigeria. She is related to a famous acting family. Her cousin was Adeyemi Afolayan, also known as Ade Love. His children, who are also actors, include Kunle Afolayan, Gabriel Afolayan, Aremu Afolayan, and Moji Afolayan.
Toyin started acting in the 1980s. She was inspired by Ade Love to join the movie industry. She has continued to act in Nollywood films, especially those made in the Yoruba language. She has been acting for about 30 years. She became very famous in 1995 for her role as Mama Adisa in the movie Deadly Affair.
