About Tracey McBean
The main character is a clever nine-year-old girl named Tracey McBean. She goes to school with her best friend, Shamus. Tracey loves to invent all sorts of cool gadgets and machines. She and Shamus use these inventions for many things, like school projects or just for fun adventures!
Tracey lives in a house, and Shamus lives in a tall apartment building. Shamus enjoys growing plants naturally, while Tracey is always busy inventing. She has a special caravan in her backyard that she uses as her inventing lab. This caravan is white with a red stripe and is full of computers, tools, and parts for her creations.
Tracey also has a younger sister named Megan. Megan sometimes bothers Tracey, which often leads Tracey to invent something to solve the problem!
There are also some rivals at school: the McConnolly brothers. They often try to compete with Tracey and Shamus, but they aren't very smart. Jim McConnolly is the leader, known for his blue hat and high-collared sweater. His sneakers have a very strong smell! Jake McConnolly is his bigger, usually not-so-bright brother, though he can surprise everyone with a smart idea now and then.
Tracey's main rival in science is a boy named Laszlo. He's also in the science club, but he's not as kind as Tracey.
In most episodes, Tracey invents something to help her friends or family. She always means well, but her inventions sometimes cause a small problem or a funny disaster. Then, Tracey has to use her smarts to fix things! Even though she's a science whiz, her inventions are usually super imaginative and not always based on real science.
