The Trafalgar Cup was a special race for young greyhound dogs. These dogs were usually between 15 and 24 months old. It was the oldest race of its kind for young dogs in the racing world.
This exciting competition first started at Wembley Stadium in 1929. It stayed there until 1998. When the races at Wembley Greyhounds stopped, the Trafalgar Cup moved to Oxford Stadium in 1999. Later, in 2015, it moved again to Monmore Green Stadium, where it was held until 2019.
