Trakinas is a popular Brazilian sandwich cookie brand. It was first created by the Nabisco company in 1988. These cookies are made especially for kids. Each Trakinas cookie has two biscuits with a sweet cream filling in the middle. What makes them special is that each biscuit looks like a face. They have two holes for eyes and one for a mouth!
Over the years, the company that makes Trakinas has changed. Nabisco sold the brand to Philip Morris in 2000. Then, a company called Kraft Foods Inc. started making Trakinas. Since 2012, the cookies have been made by Mondelez International. This company was formed when Kraft Foods split into two different businesses. Trakinas is a very well-known cookie brand in Brazil. In 2018, it was one of the most remembered biscuit brands by people.
Discovering Trakinas Flavors
Trakinas cookies are most famous for their chocolate and strawberry flavors. But over time, many other exciting flavors have been released. These include white chocolate, lemon, banana, and berries. There was even a chocolate with hazelnut flavor.
Sometimes, Trakinas cookies were sold with two different flavors in one cookie! These were called Trakinas Meio a Meio, which means "Half and Half." In 2022, a special tutti-frutti flavor was launched. This unique flavor was inspired by the popular Bubbaloo gum.
Other Fun Trakinas Products
Besides cookies, the Trakinas brand has also offered other treats. For many years, Trakinas Easter eggs were sold in Brazil. These were special chocolate eggs for the Easter holiday.
In 2012, Trakinas also became a drink! A ready-to-drink beverage called Trakinas Shake was introduced. It came in chocolate and strawberry flavors, just like the cookies. However, Trakinas Shake was no longer sold after 2014.
