Trakinas is a popular Brazilian cookie. It's a "sandwich cookie," meaning two cookies with a creamy filling in the middle. The Nabisco company first made it in 1988.
These cookies are made especially for kids. They usually have two chocolate cookies with a sweet cream inside. What makes them special is that each cookie looks like a face! It has two holes for eyes and one for a mouth.
Over the years, different companies have made Trakinas. In 2000, Kraft Foods Inc. started making them. Since 2012, Mondelez International has been the company that makes Trakinas cookies.
Cookie Flavors
Trakinas cookies are most famous for their chocolate and strawberry flavors. But over time, many other flavors have been sold. These include white chocolate, lemon, banana, and even chocolate with hazelnut.
Sometimes, Trakinas cookies have two different flavors of filling in one cookie. These are called Trakinas Meio a Meio, which means "half and half." In 2022, a special Bubbaloo gum flavor, tutti-frutti, was also released.
Other Trakinas Products
Besides cookies, the Trakinas brand has also made other fun products. For many years, Trakinas Easter eggs have been sold in Brazil.
In 2012, the brand launched a ready-to-drink chocolate milk called Trakinas Shake. It came in chocolate and strawberry flavors. However, Trakinas Shake was stopped in 2014.
