Trebizon facts for kids
Trebizon is a popular series of school story books written by Anne Digby. These exciting novels are all about a fictional boarding school called Trebizon. The series includes fourteen books, published between 1978 and 1994.
Just like the famous Malory Towers books by Enid Blyton, Trebizon School is located in the beautiful county of Cornwall, in England.
The stories follow the main character, Rebecca Mason. You get to read about her adventures from when she first joins the school in her second year. The books continue until she finishes her fifth year at Trebizon.
A big part of Rebecca's story is her growing talent for tennis. She becomes a very skilled player throughout the series. Other important characters are Rebecca's two best friends, Tish Anderson and Susan Murdoch. Her boyfriend, Robbie Anderson, also plays a role in the books.
The Trebizon series has been reprinted by Egmont. These newer versions feature cool illustrations by Lucy Truman. The first seven books came out again in 2016. All fourteen titles are also available as ebooks, so you can read them on your devices.
