Early Life and Dance Journey
Trent Whiddon started dancing when he was just seven years old. His mom really encouraged him! He learned many different dance styles, like Ballroom, Latin-American, Jazz, Tap, Ballet, and Hip Hop.
When he was 15, Trent was so good that he represented Australia at the Junior British Championships. He even made it to the final round! Later, in 2005, he competed as a Latin dancer with his partner, Peta Murgatroyd.
A couple of years later, in 2007, Trent joined the cast of a famous dance show called Burn the Floor. He toured with the show and eventually became a lead dancer. He also took on important roles like Dance Captain and Company Manager, helping to lead the whole dance team.
Trent has also been a professional dancer on Australia's version of Dancing with the Stars. He even helped create dances for two seasons of So You Think You Can Dance Australia. He did this alongside his wife, Gordana Grandosek, who is from Slovenia. They met in 2008 when they became dance partners and won the Australian Professional Ten Dance Champions title together.
