Strictly Come Dancing facts for kids
Strictly Come Dancing is a British television programme. It features celebrities dancing with professional dancers. In each series, the couples compete to decide a winner.
It is shown on BBC One and is presented by Bruce Forsyth, Tess Daly & Claudia Winkleman. It is narrated by Alan Dedicoat. The judges since it began are Len Goodman, Craig Revel Horwood and Bruno Tonioli. Arlene Phillips was a judge from 2004-2008; Alesha Dixon was a judge from 2009-2011. Darcey Bussell is the current judge in Alesha Dixon's place.
There were two series in its first year, 2004. From 2005 onwards, there has been one series per year. Many countries have their own version of the show (see Dancing with the Stars).
