Troy Alves (born September 26, 1966) is an American retired professional bodybuilder. He was known for his balanced and symmetrical physique during his career.

Troy's Journey to Bodybuilding
Troy Alves loved weight training since he was in high school. He was a talented baseball player and even earned a scholarship to play college baseball. However, he got injured while lifting weights, which put his baseball career at risk. Because he had a child at the time, Troy decided to leave college and join the United States Airforce.
After his time in the Air Force, people suggested he try bodybuilding. Troy competed in his first show, the NPC USA Championships, in 1996. He later joined the IFBB, which is a big professional bodybuilding organization. His first IFBB competition was the Arnold Classic in 2003, and he also competed in the famous Mr. Olympia contest that same year.
Troy became known for his amazing body shape, which was very balanced and symmetrical. He appeared in many fitness magazines, including the cover of FLEX magazine. Today, Troy lives in Peoria, Arizona, USA, where he owns his own supplement store called Pro Nutrition. He is also a childhood friend of actor Michael Jai White.

- In 2011, he won the Europa Battle of Champions in Connecticut.
- Also in 2011, he won the Phoenix Pro Show in Arizona.
- In 2013, Troy switched to a different bodybuilding class called the 212 class. He won his first show in this new class, the Europa Show of Champions Florida 212, which qualified him to compete in the 2013 Mr. Olympia.
