What Makes Truist Place Special?

One of the most noticeable parts of Truist Place is its unique pyramid-shaped roof. This roof has special lights that can change colors. The colors often match the season or special events happening in the city.

Why Did the Name Change?

The building's name changed because of a big event in the banking world. The bank called SunTrust joined with another bank called BB&T. Together, they formed a new company named Truist. Because of this merger, the building's name was officially changed to Truist Place in January 2021.
