Tuas Crescent MRT station (EW31) is a train station in Singapore. It's part of the East West Line, which is a big train network called the MRT. This station is built above the ground in an area called Tuas. Its name comes from a road nearby.

Before it opened, this station was known as W16.

The idea for Tuas Crescent MRT station was first shared on January 11, 2011. Mr. Raymond Lim, who was the Transport Minister at the time, announced it. He said the station would be ready by 2016 and would help about 100,000 people travel every day.

What's really cool about this station is how it was built! It's located right in the middle of a road bridge. This was the first time a train station and its tracks in Singapore were built like this.

Tuas Crescent station also has some record-breaking features:

  • It has the longest staircase of all MRT stations, with 105 steps!
  • It also has the longest escalator in Singapore's train network, measuring 17.5 meters.
