Tulip, Ohio facts for kids
Tulip is a small, unincorporated community located in Adams County, in the U.S. state of Ohio. An unincorporated community means it's a group of homes or buildings that isn't officially a town or city with its own local government.
A Look Back: Tulip's History
Tulip got its name from a post office that opened there in 1899. A post office is where people send and receive mail. This post office served the community for many years. It stayed open until 1954, when it closed down. Even though the post office is gone, the name "Tulip" still marks this quiet spot on the map in Ohio.
