Where is Tullaroan Church?
Tullaroan Church is found just south of a village called Tullaroan. It sits on the east side of a small river. This river flows into the Munster River.
What Does the Church Look Like?
Tullaroan Parish Church was built with two main parts. These were the nave and the chancel. The nave is the main part of the church where people sit. The chancel is the area near the altar, often used by the choir.
The church also has some special features. There is a sedilia, which are seats built into the wall for priests. It has a beautiful Gothic door. Gothic architecture is a style of building with pointed arches and tall windows. There is also a choir-arch that separates the nave from the chancel.
A special part of the church is Grace's Chapel. Sir John (Le) Grace started this chapel in 1543. It is attached to the south side of the main church building.
