What is Twinkletoes About?
The name Twinkletoes comes from a real person! It was the nickname of Chia Boon Leong, a famous Singaporean football player from the 1950s. He was called "Twinkletoes" because he was incredibly good at moving the ball with his feet.
The main character in the books is a boy named Leandro Giovanni Ang Soon Huat. The series follows Leandro and his football team from Morrison High School on their many adventures. You'll also meet other cool characters like their school principal, Mr. Billy Chin, and Leandro's friends, Jasmine, Hock Ann, and Augustine.
