Two More Eggs is a super fun animated web series. It was created by a duo known as The Brothers Chaps. This series was made for Disney XD's YouTube channel and also shown on the Disney XD TV channel. The Brothers Chaps are well-known for their earlier web series, Homestar Runner. Two More Eggs was actually Disney's very first animated web series!
The show first came out on June 23, 2015. It launched with three episodes, a trailer, and an official announcement. It was planned that new episodes would be released every Tuesday. Each episode is usually short, lasting about 1 to 2 minutes. They focus on different characters or groups, like "Dooble" or "CGI Palz." There isn't one big, ongoing story that connects all the episodes. Instead, each one is its own unique mini-adventure. Matt Chapman, one of the creators, mentioned that he and Mike had a lot of creative freedom working with Disney. This was similar to how they worked on Homestar Runner.
The series was quite popular! In March 2016, it was announced that Two More Eggs would get a second season. This new season premiered online on June 13, 2016. Later, in August 2017, the show was renewed for its third and final season. That season started online on August 21, 2017.
Characters and Series in Two More Eggs
Two More Eggs features many different mini-series and characters. Here are some of the main ones:
- Dooble: This series follows a pot-bellied man named Dooble. He often finds himself in funny and unexpected adventures, whether he means to or not!
- Eggpo: This is a video game world inside Dooble's game. A new character named Eggpo learns what it's like to be a basic enemy. Sometimes, he even breaks the rules!
- CGI Palz: This is a pretend TV show all about how cool it is to be computer-generated. The characters are made with computer graphics.
- Trauncles: This series makes fun of calm, soft-spoken British children's shows. It's set in a town called Trauncles.
- Hector & Kovitch: These two friends love to chat about all their favorite things. They talk about movies, video games, and more!
- Hot Dip: A cool mascot for a dip product tries to help a teenager named Hayden. Hot Dip gives advice for social life challenges, but it's usually not very helpful!
- Bad Snaxx: A busy working mom shares her "food hacks" with the world. Be warned, some of her ideas can be quite strange!
- The Joshow Show/Joshow: A dad who recently lost his job shows off his crafting skills. His son is often very embarrassed by his dad's projects.
- Gankroar: This series is made up of commercials for a toy robot named Gankroar. He has a furry alien friend called Cheeby.
- New4Mobile: This series is all about a mobile phone app.
- Poach & Scramble: These are two eggs who love to sing and dance!
- Hot Diggity: This is a funny take on educational shows from the 1980s and 1990s.
- Parental Notice: This series makes fun of the notices you see before Preschool shows.
- Street Road Junction: This is a pretend TV show where roads can talk and act like people!
- Panda Bractice: This is a band of all-girl RV (recreational vehicle) enthusiasts. They are trying to become famous musicians.
- There are also some one-off shorts that aren't part of a regular series. These include Cutesycorns, Knight Bit, Francis Sweetmouth, Qblepon, World's Best, TurchKid03, and Beef Stroganauts.
- One special short called Grown-Ups Made Up By Kids is not part of any specific series.
