Tyrone's History: A Look at Its Past
Tyrone has been a small community for a long time. Records show us how many people lived there in the early 1900s.
In 1902, the population of Tyrone was 54 people. A few years later, in 1925, the number of residents was very similar, with 52 people living there. By 1940, the population had changed slightly, with 35 people calling Tyrone home. These numbers show that Tyrone has always been a quiet, close-knit place.
