Tyrone Brazelton, born on March 30, 1986, is an American professional basketball player. He is known for playing as a point guard. He last played for Levski Sofia in Bulgaria's top basketball league. Tyrone won a championship in Poland in 2009 with a team called Prokom. On October 2, 2016, he also won the Polish Super-Cup and was named the Most Valuable Player (MVP) of that game.

Tyrone's College Basketball Journey
Tyrone Brazelton was born in Chicago, Illinois. He started playing basketball at Rich East High School. Later, he moved to a different school, Rich Central High School, for his senior year. At Rich Central, he helped his team win the Big Dipper tournament. He was even named the most valuable player of that tournament.
After high school, Tyrone played college basketball. He first played for the Missouri State University-West Plains basketball team. Then, for his junior year, he transferred to the Western Kentucky University basketball team. Missouri State University-West Plains played in the NJCAA sports league. Western Kentucky played in the higher-level NCAA Division I sports. During his junior and senior years at Western Kentucky, he scored double-digit points in many games. He was also chosen for the All-Sun Belt Second Team in his final year.
After college, Tyrone was not picked in the 2008 NBA draft. However, he still got to play with the Utah Jazz's team in the NBA Summer League. He played in two games, scoring about 12 points, grabbing 3 rebounds, and making 2 assists per game.
Tyrone's Professional Basketball Career
Since he wasn't drafted into the NBA, Tyrone Brazelton decided to play basketball in Europe. He signed with a team from Latvia called BK Ventspils in 2008. They played in the EuroChallenge tournament. Even though he played very well, his team didn't make it to the next round of the tournament.
Soon after, Tyrone joined another team called Asseco Prokom in Poland. He played in the Euroleague, which is a big European basketball competition. In August 2009, he signed to play with Prokom for another season. However, he left the team in November 2009.
In January 2011, Tyrone moved to Germany to play for Eisbären Bremerhaven.
During the 2011–12 season, Tyrone played in the NBA Development League (now called the G-League) in the United States. He played for the Erie BayHawks. He played about 29 minutes per game, scoring around 9.2 points and making 5.3 assists.
In August 2012, Tyrone went back to Germany and signed with Nürnberger BC. Later that year, in November, he moved to Ukraine to play for BC Odesa.
In April 2013, he signed with an Iranian club called Petrochimi. In August, he moved to Lithuania to play for BC Nevėžis. In January 2014, he joined the Belarusian team Tsmoki-Minsk. In April 2014, he returned to Lithuania to play for BC Neptūnas for the rest of that season.
In August 2014, Tyrone signed a one-year contract with STB Le Havre in France. They played in the French LNB Pro A league.
On July 2, 2015, Tyrone signed a two-year deal with Torku Konyaspor in Turkey. In December 2015, he left Konyaspor. He then signed with BCM Gravelines in France on December 19, 2015. He left Gravelines at the end of the 2015–16 season.
On July 26, 2016, Tyrone signed with the Polish club Rosa Radom for the 2016–17 season. On April 18, 2017, he signed with Guizhou in China for their 2017 NBL season.
On October 29, 2017, Tyrone signed with Istanbulspor Beylikduzu in Turkey.
In February 2018, Tyrone moved to Panionios in Greece. He then spent the entire 2018–2019 season with Ifaistos Limnou, also in Greece. He averaged 9.2 points and 4.3 assists in 24 games. On August 5, 2019, Tyrone signed with his third Greek team, Kolossos Rodou.
Playing in The Basketball Tournament
In 2017, Tyrone Brazelton also played in a special competition called The Basketball Tournament. He played for the Kentucky Kings team. This tournament is a big event broadcast on ESPN, where the winning team gets a large cash prize. Tyrone helped his team reach the second round of the tournament.
