A post office is a place where you can send and receive mail. The first post office in this area opened in 1878 and was called Tyrrell Hill. Later, in 1894, its name was officially changed to Tyrrell. This post office served the community for many years, helping people connect through letters and packages. However, it eventually closed down in 1930.
