UFO Kidnapped is a 1983 TV movie made by Nickelodeon. It was created by Roger Price and Geoffrey Darby. This movie was planned to be the first episode of a TV series. Even though it aired on Nickelodeon, the show was not chosen to become a full series. Many actors from You Can't Do That on Television, including Les Lye, starred in it. The movie was filmed in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

What Happens in UFO Kidnapped?

The story begins with a man named Sam Smythe (played by Les Lye). He is inside a house where he was sneaking around. Suddenly, the lights start flashing on and off. Smythe feels something is very wrong. He runs outside in a panic. He falls to the ground and looks up. A UFO (Unidentified Flying Object) is floating right above him! Then, a huge green light appears and pulls him into the UFO.

Later, two teenage boys, Alasdair and Kevin, are camping in the woods. Their dog, Amber, is with them. They are planning their camping trip. Amber starts barking loudly. Kevin asks, "What is it, Amber?" Alasdair's flashlight begins to flicker on and off. Kevin tells Alasdair to stop, but Alasdair says he isn't doing it. Then, they both see a UFO appear. Just like Smythe, they start running away.

They hide, but Amber runs out. Alasdair screams as the same big green light that took Smythe also takes Amber. Alasdair yells for the UFO not to take his dog. He and Kevin watch the UFO fly away. As they try to figure out what to do, they hear a police officer calling them. Relieved, they run to meet him and get into his car. But then they notice they saw this same officer earlier that morning. They realize he shouldn't be so far out in the woods. They discover the police car is a trap! The car turns into the same green light that took Smythe and Amber. It then pulls them into the UFO too.

Once inside the UFO, Alasdair and Kevin wake up. They are in a room that looks exactly like their bedroom. But they find they cannot get out. Kevin even hits the wall with a baseball bat. They quickly realize they are not at home. The bedroom image then vanishes, showing the inside of the UFO. They cannot move at first. Friendly creatures called Loolis greet them. The Loolis welcome them, comfort them, and give them hugs. They tell the boys that they were also taken by the UFO. They also say that Amber, their dog, is safe. Then, the boys can move again. Klea Scott and Amber come out to greet them. When Alasdair is told he is in a UFO, he thinks Klea is joking.

They then meet other creatures called Shandrillas. The Shandrillas tell them they were taken to be pets. They tell the boys to enjoy their stay. The Shandrillas also talk about Black Holes with Alasdair. They say they can enter these strange cosmic objects. While this is happening, Klea gives food to Smythe. Smythe grabs Klea from his cell. He unlocks it and escapes, holding Klea as a hostage. Smythe and Klea go deeper into the spaceship where everyone else is. Smythe then realizes he really is on a UFO. He faints from shock.

The Shandrilla then announces they will enter a Black Hole. When they come out, he tells Alasdair they are many light years away. They then land on a desert planet. Just like before, Alasdair wakes up aboard the UFO. It looks like his room, and he thinks it was all a dream. But this time, Kevin is not with him. Again, the room is locked. Alasdair imagines his way out. He then meets Klea and asks, "Where's Kevin?"

Later, Kevin, Smythe, and Amber are beamed out of the UFO. The Shandrillas hold them hostage and sell them as slaves. The Loolis then go and rescue Smythe and Kevin. They also free another prisoner who was there. Everyone is beamed back aboard the UFO. The guards they fought earlier follow them into space. Alasdair then gets an idea to fly through a Black Hole to escape them. When he does, he loses sight of the following ship. They then see Earth and are very happy. But Alasdair and Smythe wonder if it is their Earth. They realize they might be in a parallel universe.
