Unione Sportiva Dilettantistica 1913 Seregno Calcio is an Italian football club. It is based in Seregno, a town in the Lombardy region of Italy. In July 2024, the club faced financial difficulties and had to leave the Serie D league.

The History of Seregno Football Club

Seregno Football Club was started in 1913. A person named Umberto Trabattoni founded the club. In 1936, the club even hosted the Italian National Team before a big world football competition.

Seregno's Journey Through Italian Leagues

The club played in Serie B during the 1933–34 and 1934–35 seasons. Serie B is a professional football league in Italy, just below the top league, Serie A.

After those years, Seregno did not play at a professional level for a long time. Their last professional season was in 1981–82, when they were in Serie C2. Serie C2 was another professional league, a bit lower than Serie B.

In 2008, the club changed its name to its current one: Unione Sportiva Dilettantistica 1913 Seregno Calcio.

Returning to Professional Football

In the 2020–21 Serie D season, Seregno had a great year. They won their group, called Girone B. This victory meant they were promoted to Serie C.

This promotion was a big deal for the club. It marked their return to professional Italian football for the first time since 1982. It was an exciting moment for the team and its fans!

Seregno's Team Colors

The main color for the Seregno team is blue. Their jerseys, shorts, and socks are usually all blue. This makes them easy to spot on the field!
