Seregno Football Club was started in 1913. A person named Umberto Trabattoni founded the club. In 1936, the club even hosted the Italian National Team before a big world football competition.

The club played in Serie B during the 1933–34 and 1934–35 seasons. Serie B is a professional football league in Italy, just below the top league, Serie A.

In 2008, the club changed its name to its current one: Unione Sportiva Dilettantistica 1913 Seregno Calcio.
