How Undercover Dads Works
The show starts with the kids thinking their dad has gone away for work. But really, he's just around the corner in a special make-up van! There, he gets a fake mask and a costume to look like a lady. He also goes to 'Nanny Boot Camp' to learn how to walk and talk like a woman.
Secret Missions and Family Fun
During the show, Dad (as Mega Nanny) has to complete funny challenges. Mum and Dave Chapman help him out. For example, in one challenge called '..And a Sausage Roll', he has to call a shop. He must order strange things, including a sausage roll, all while sounding like a lady! In another mission, 'Where's Your Wig At?', he has to sneak into the house without his wig. He then has to get it back without his kids seeing him. If he finishes a secret challenge, the kids win a fun family day out!
Getting to Know the Kids
Over the two days, Dad also learns what his kids think about their home life. He finds out what they wish he would change. Maybe they want him to play more, or watch less TV, or talk about soccer less often. Sometimes, the dads are very surprised by what their kids say!
The Big Reveal and Final Challenge
At the end of the two days, Mega Nanny's true identity is shown. The kids find out it was their dad all along! Then, Dad faces one last challenge. It's a quiz to see if he really got to know his kids better during the two days. If he passes, he gets to join them on all the family prizes they won. But if he fails, he has to help them with their homework for a whole month!
