Unión Santeña is a special kind of area in Panama called a corregimiento. It is located in the Chimán District within the Panamá Province.
In 2010, about 920 people lived in Unión Santeña. This area was officially created on January 19, 1998, by a law called Law 5. A few years earlier, in 2000, its population was a bit higher, with 1,023 people.
