Universe (which used to be called Danfoss Universe) is an exciting park in Denmark. It's located on the island of Als, which is southeast of Jutland. This park is special because it mixes fun rides with cool science experiments.
The main idea behind Universe is to make science, technology, and new inventions amazing. Visitors learn about the world by doing activities and having hands-on experiences. Discover Fun at Universe Park
Universe is a unique place where you can play and learn at the same time. It's designed to spark your curiosity about how things work. You can explore many different areas, each with its own scientific theme.
Exciting New Adventures
In 2017, Universe added some awesome new things to explore.
- You can try Virtual Reality experiences. These let you step into a digital world!
- There's a SkyTrail climbing tower for an active challenge.
- You can drive electric cars.
- A 5D simulator offers a super immersive experience.
- Visit an astronomy dome to learn about stars and planets.
- Explore a beautiful Chinese garden.
Play and Learn in 2014
The year 2014 brought even more cool features to Universe.
- Pixelineland: This outdoor area lets you meet Pixeline, a popular Danish children's game character. You can explore her city and play interactive games with her friends. There's also a big playground.
- Science Circus: Get ready for a show with fire, explosions, and liquid nitrogen! It's a mix of science and entertainment.
- You can also ride Segways, which are cool two-wheeled electric vehicles.
- Try to lift a real car using just your hands!

The Story of Danfoss
Besides all the fun activities, Universe also has a museum. This museum tells the story of Mads Clausen, who founded the company Danfoss. You can see how he lived and how he invented many things.
Science and Leadership
A person named Charlotte Sahl-Madsen used to be in charge of Universe park. Later, she became the Danish Minister of Science, Technology and Development. This means she helped make decisions about science and new ideas for the whole country. She worked with a smart person named Howard Gardner. They used his idea of Multiple Intelligences to design the Explorama area in the park. This idea suggests that people learn in many different ways.
A Royal Opening
Universe park first opened its doors on May 5, 2005. Important guests attended the opening ceremony. These included the Danish Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary.
