About UQROO
What is UQROO?
UQROO is a place where students can go to learn after high school. It is a "public" university, which means it gets support from the government. This helps make education more available for many students.
The university has several locations, or "campuses," across Quintana Roo. These include its main campus in Chetumal, and others in Playa del Carmen, Cozumel, and Cancún.
Learning About Health
A special part of the university, called the Division of Health Sciences, opened on October 23, 2010. This is where students learn about health and medicine. They study subjects that help them become doctors, nurses, or other health professionals.
A Big Library
The university has a large library system. It holds more than 36,634 books and other learning materials. This huge collection helps students with their studies and research.
