Uppo-Nalle: The Bear Who Loves Poems
The main character is Uppo-Nalle, a special teddy bear who can talk and move! He absolutely loves writing and reading poetry. His name, Uppo-Nalle, means "sunken bear" in Finnish. He got this name because he was found underwater during a boat trip on a river.
Who Are Uppo-Nalle's Friends?
Besides Uppo-Nalle, there are other fun characters in the books:
- A kind girl named Reeta.
- Reeta's wise grandmother.
- Their loyal dog, Laulava Lintukoira. This dog's name means "singing bird dog" in Finnish!
