Usman Dar (Urdu: عثمان ڈار) is a Pakistani politician. He served as a special helper to the former Prime Minister of Pakistan, Imran Khan. His main role was to work on matters related to young people in Pakistan.
He held this important job from December 2018 until April 2022. During this time, he also led the Prime Minister's Youth Programme. This program helps young people with things like education and jobs.

Early Life and Family
Usman Dar was born on August 28, 1974. His birthplace is Sialkot, a city in Pakistan. He comes from a Punjabi-speaking Kashmiri family. He is married and has two children.
His Education Journey
Usman Dar earned a Bachelor of Commerce degree. He studied at the University of the Punjab in Pakistan.
He once stated that he received a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree. This was from Schiller International University in London in 1997. However, later, questions were raised about this degree. The UK's Department for Education said they did not recognize that university. Because of this, Usman Dar did not include the MBA degree in his papers for the 2018 election. He only listed his degree from the University of the Punjab.

Usman Dar has been involved in politics for many years. He has run for election several times.
Early Elections
In 2008, he tried to win a seat in the Provincial Assembly of the Punjab. He ran as an independent candidate but did not win.
Later, in the 2013 general election, he ran for a seat in the National Assembly of Pakistan. He was a candidate for the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) party. Even though he received many votes, he was not successful.
He ran again for the National Assembly in the 2018 general election. He was still a PTI candidate and received a lot of support. However, he did not win this election either.
Role in Youth Programs
On October 10, 2018, Prime Minister Imran Khan chose Usman Dar for an important role. He was made the Chairman of the Prime Minister’s Youth Programme. This program helps young people across Pakistan.
A few months later, on December 3, 2018, he received another key position. Prime Minister Imran Khan appointed him as his Special Assistant on Youth Affairs. This meant he advised the Prime Minister on youth-related issues.
In October 2023, Usman Dar announced that he would be leaving politics. He also stated he would no longer be part of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf party.
