Usman Dar is a Pakistani politician. He used to be a special helper to the Prime Minister of Pakistan, Imran Khan, focusing on issues for young people. He held this job from December 2018 until April 2022. He also led the Prime Minister's Youth Programme, which helps young people.

About Usman Dar
Usman Dar was born in Sialkot, Pakistan, on August 28, 1974. He comes from a family that speaks Punjabi and has roots in Kashmir. He is married and has two children.
His Education
Usman Dar earned a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of the Punjab. For the 2013 general election, he mentioned having a Master of Business Administration degree. Later, for the 2018 general election, he only listed his graduation degree from the University of the Punjab.

Usman Dar has been involved in politics for many years. He ran for different government positions in Pakistan.
Early Elections
In 2008, he ran as an independent candidate for the Provincial Assembly of the Punjab. He did not win this election.
He also ran for a seat in the National Assembly of Pakistan in 2013. He was a candidate for the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) party. He received many votes but did not win the seat.
In 2018, he ran again for the National Assembly as a PTI candidate. He received even more votes this time but still did not win the election.
Important Roles
On October 10, 2018, Prime Minister Imran Khan chose Usman Dar to be the Chairman of the Prime Minister’s Youth Programme. This program helps young people in Pakistan.
Later, on December 3, 2018, Prime Minister Imran Khan appointed him as his Special Assistant on Youth Affairs. This meant he was a key advisor to the Prime Minister on matters related to young people.
Leaving Politics
On October 4, 2023, Usman Dar announced that he was leaving the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf party and stepping away from politics.
